Overland to Thailand and India
Question: Hi there. I be backpacking around SE Asia & India for a few months. I’m wondering if it is possible to travel overland from Thailand or India into Myanmar?
Answer: At this point in time, definitely NOT possible unless in very special cases. You will require a get a special permit, and probably have escorts (i actually met a cyclist who said he did that!). Your best option, is still to fly in and out of Myanmar.
